--- to executors son Charles and friends William Cox and William Hanscombe, all real estate, Pirton in trust to sell both free and copyholds, and all personal estate:- --- to elder son John 20 guineas (having already advanced him considerable sums of money) on condition that he joins in the sale of the estates if required to do so --- to son Joseph having already received from his mother
about £100, - £200. --- £200 to each of other children except sons Charles and Jesse and daughter Charlotte wife of John Griffen
who are to have £300 each. Executors to invest £300 in purchase of annuity during lives of Jesse and wife Sarah. --- to grandson John Thrussell 19 guineas --- grand-daughter Peggy Kingsley now living with the testator 19 guineas --- housekeeper Sarah Reynolds 19 guineas --- to James Hanscombe, labourer in employ of testator £5 --- residue to be divided equally into 11 equal parts, one part to be divided equally between the children of late son George, 1 part between all children of late son William, 1 part between children of late daughter Frances, 1 part to each of children- James, Mary, Thomas, Sarah, Charles, Charlotte,
Jesse and Joseph of their issue. Codicil: 2 Dec. 1837 revoking bequest of 11th part to Jesse. Part is to be used instead to make up the annuity to £26p.a.remainder - 19 guineas to grand-daughter Clarissa Thrussell and rest equally between testator's children and
issue of deceased children. Codicil: 15 Jan. 1839. --- 2 cottages with gardens, orchards etc., purchased of George Arnold Hailey, Pirton, occupied David Button and Joseph Reynolds, to son John Kingsley for life, then to Peggy Kingsley his wife then to executors in trust to sell to uses as above. Witnesses William & John Hawkins, James Dawson, Thomas Widdows.
