    -- The parsonage and rectory impropriate of Sharnbrook, and every part thereof, as assigned by Marmaduke Thomson to Thomas Tayler and from him to Richard Powell; and all the trust in Edmund Manning reposed by the will of William Cobb and by him assigned to Richard Powell; as also any claim of Richard Powell; £878 by Chancery decree to be paid to Edmund Manning out of infant’s estate. Recites:- Will of Thomas Cobb esquire 16 January 1670. Devised to brother Edward Sharnbrook rectory, charged with payment of £300 each to brother George and sister Mary. Will of Edward Cobb, 6 June 1674. Devised to brother William to pay debts, subject to same payments, and also subject to Edward Cobb’s debts being paid within 18 months; in default to Marmaduke Thomson, citizen and apothecary of London , to sell, and pay debts; residue together with ½ estate, to brother William; the other half to Marmaduke Thomson, brother- in-law, executor. Will of William Cobb, 14 September 1675. To wife Sarah a cottage in Sharnbrook, wherein Jeffrey Woodham inhabited, to hold while unmarried; Executors: Henry Mountagu of Colworth esquire (brother of Robert Mountagu), Essex Woodham of Bletsoe, gentleman, Edmund Manning, citizen and grocer of London, to whom residue of estate and remainder of said cottage.
