Includes a garden fete hosted by the Rev Paul Wyatt in the grounds of Austin Canons, Kempston Road; a procession headed by Bedford Midland Military Band and accompanied by Shefford Brass Band; an address on the progress of the Order by P.G.M Bourne of Cheltenham and the Rev. Paul Wyatt, Mayor of Bedford; an open-air concert arranged by A W Newman; sports for juvenile members and tea on the grounds, 6d each. A special late train will run from Bedford to Hitchin at 10pm calling at Southill and Shefford.
