Turnley, Bedford, gent. reciting: will of Samuel Hillyard, late Bedford, Protestant dissenting minister 7 Aug, 1838, proved. 20 July 1839 (died 4 March 1839) - to wife Frances all real and personal estate, and to be sole executrix; desiring that 2 cottages, St. John St., Bedford, & Pavenham should be sold and proceeds divided equally among children, Frances Allen wife of Ebenezer Herne, Benjamin Hillyard & daughter Mary; recommended that 2 daughters should help brother Benjamin in placing his children as apprentices. reciting: Mary Hillyard is now wife of Revd.
