well acquainted with Edward Ashwell, late of Eversholt, deceased, who was tenant for life of real estate in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, came to Eversholt 30 years ago; wife Sarah (nee Vaughan) died nine years since. Edward died 31 Dec 1865. Goodman was the executor of his will. Sarah was the only wife of Edward; one child died within a year of birth.
