    recites: 1) Lease and Release and Enrolled Bargain & Sale i) Right Honourable Powlett, Earl of Bolingbroke, Lord St John of Bletsoe(Vendor) ii) Samuel Ongley of London, Merchant (Purchaser) Property including Lands, Meadows, Pastures and Hereditaments (26 Acres) Meppershall, then in the occupation of Robert Campkin. Robert Henley inherited the life interest in the rents of the estate AND assumed the name Ongley in addition to Henley. He was later created Baron Ongley of the Kingdom of Ireland.
