Trevor estate in Biddenham and Bromham (Warren)

Documents deposited by Messrs Warrens of 5, Bedford Square, WC1, on behalf of Captain G T Wingfield; June 1932 Relating to the Trevor Estate in Bromham, Biddenham, Stagsden, Carlton and Chellington, and some adjoining parishes, 1285, 1369- 1817 Relation to TW - The documents catalogued as TW until recently formed part of the muniments of the Trevor Estate, but were not handed over to the agents (Messrs Warrens) on the sale of the estate shortly after the War Note on Classification Only about half of the documents in this deposit were found tied up in bundles: these were first catalogued. The remainder [WW210-WW415] were loose, and in no order: these were sorted according to properties into what seemed to be their original groups, but limited time has allowed only a rough classification, and the arrangement is merely an attempt to bring related documents together for the benefit of the student. The brief Key to Properties, etc. (see next sheet) will help the student to obtain an approximate idea of the contents, but for detailed work the catalogue must be used.
