Letter from James Gutteridge , Eaton Green, to the Marquess, endorsed "boundary marks on intermixed land at Biscot". As son-in-law of deceased, John Hay & present owner of his farm at Limbury, has received Marquess' letter. Understands that several exchanges took place many years since between Earl of Bute, John Crawley & John Hay for mutual benefit; balks separating property were ploughed up & land laid together in large pieces. Thinks it would be better to have those exchanges confirmed; but if Marquess wishes to reinstate each owner, will help if possible.
