Scope and Content
(i) Sarah Burton of Saffron Hill of St Andrew Holborn (county of Middlesex), spinster, (only daughter of Henry Burton, late of Spitalfields, and then of St Mary Whitechapel (county of Middlesex), gentleman, deceased, the only son and heir of Henry Burton of London, draper); (ii) John Ekins of the Royal Exchange Assurance Office, London, gentleman; and (iii) Jeffrey Fisher of Flitwick, esquire, and wife Anne (late Anne Warner). [Recites original Grant, as in LL1/136; and also Agreement for sale, dated 19 April last past [1764]: Sarah Burton to Dr Humphrey Dell. -- The said rent, except the dower of Mary (wife of Robert Callaway, late widow of Henry Burton the son, and mother of Sarah Burton). Recites also death of Dr Dell, and that Anne Fisher with her husband Jeffrey Fisher in her right are entitled to the execution of the agreement]. Witnesses: John Brydall (of Ampthill) and Robert Parker.
