Scope and Content
Whereas by consent of John Alston, Richard Orlibeare of Hinwick, gentleman, Anthony Sares, Oliver Sares, and Richard Fysher, John Alston is to enclose and for ever hereafter held in severalty Lither Hill close, Square close, and a little piece of ground before the door of John Boney;
and whereas Richard Orlebar by the like consent is to enclose Goose piece with leys adjoining, 14 acres, adjoining, Calves close;
and whereas Anthony and Oliver Sares are to enclose Hunger Hill close, with 7 leys adjoining called the common leys and Gorewrong close;
and whereas Richard Fysher is to enclose 7 lands and leys next Cockhill close (close now in the occupation of Thomas Coulgrave);
John Alston has granted to Richard Fisher a selion of ½ acre in Hinwick in a certain place called Cockhill;
provided that if John and Richard Marshall, sons of John Marshall of Hinwick, yeoman, do not release their rights in the said closes at age 21, this indenture shall be void.
