  • Scope and Content
Annotated 'This tracing was corrected, from the original map in the possession Arlesey Parish Council, in the County Surveyors drawing office March 1947 J Godber County Archivist 13 March 1947.' However a comparison with that map (PCArlesey16/1) shows that there are differences. - This 'copy' does not have the reference tables to old enclosures. - Some of the 'boundaries' marked in blue, red and yellow on the original map are not accurately marked on the copy. - On the original map all the writing is in the same ink, on this 'copy' some of the writing is in black and some in pink. - Some of the writing is in a different orientation to that on the original map almost certainly because the writing on this map is much larger than that on the original and is too large to fit. - Some pale red lines on the original are not shown on this 'copy'. - This copy does have some areas coloured in green and yellow that are not so coloured on the original.
