    Parties: (i) Mary Coventry of Buttermilk Hall, Drayton Beauchamp [Buckinghamshire]; (ii) William Partridge of Hoxton [Middlesex], goldsmith, eldest son of John Partridge of Stanbridge, deceased; (iii) John Partridge of Tilsworth, yeoman; (iv) John Simons of Shortgrove, Totternhoe, yeoman (trustee for (iii)) Reciting: - mortgage by demise for a thousand years of 15 May 1738 between (1) John Partridge and Susannah, his wife, late Susannah Valentine, spinster, daughter and devisee of William Valentine, deceased; (2) Mary Keene of Berkhampstead Saint Peter [Hertfordshire], spinster; (3) John Shotbolt of Leighton Buzzard, tanner in which (2) lent £100 to (3) secured on (a) with a covenant by (1), along with William Fox and Elizabeth, his wife and Henry Smith and Elizabeth, his wife to execute a fine sur conizance de droit come co etc to John Shotbolt for three cottages, twenty acres of land, five acres of meadow, ten acres of pasture and common of pasture for all cattle in Toddington, Leighton Buzzard and Stanbridge; - SH49/3/2 - SH49/3/3; - to better secure the £50 mortgage at 4% interest in SH49/3/3 John Partridge demised (a)-(c) to (i) for the term of two thousand years; - John Partridge died intestate and equity of redemption and inheritance passed to (ii); - the £50 remained outstanding but all interest had been paid; Operative Part - (iii) paid £50 to (i) by direction of (ii); - (iv) paid 5/- to (i); - (i), by request of (ii) and nomination of (iii) assigned (a)-(m) to (iv) in trust for (iii) for the remains of terms of one and two thousand years Property: (a) a cottage in the East End of Stanbridge next to The Green E and ground late of Thomas Stanbridge W; (b) small piece of ground on the W of (a); (c) small piece of ground on the N of (a); (d) an acre in Bonneland Furlong, Muggendon Field, land formerly of Robert Bawdrye E and John Iremonger W; (e) half an acre in Lang Furlong with land of Henry Honnor W and Thomas Pearson E; (f) half an acre in Lang Furlong with land formerly of Gabriel Rawlyne W and Thomas Cooke E; (g) half an acre in Great Dinges in Muggendon Field with land formerly of Thomas Pearson E and Thomas Ellingham, now John Capon W; (h) an acre in Lang Furlong with land formerly of John Tearle E and Thomas Ellingham, now John Capon W; (i) a land in Lang Furlong with land of John Iremonger E and that formerly of Thomas Pearson W; (j) a land in Great Dinges with land formerly of Thomas Buckmaster W and John Iremonger E; (k) a headland in Great Dinges with land of formerly of Andrew Bawdrey E; (l) a land "on the sunny side of Muggendon Hill" with land formerly of John Tearle E and Thomas Clarke W; (m) land on the "sunny side of Charlton Hill" with land formerly of Henry Honnor W and John Tearle E Mary Coventry signed by mark Witnesses: - Gregory Odell of Leighton Buzzard; - Richard Walker of Leighton Buzzard; - William Hampson
