Parties: (i) John Willison of Whetstone [Middlesex], yeoman, and Ann, his wife; John Bacchus of North Crawley [Buckinghamshire], farmer and Hannah, his wife; George Smith of Saint Margaret's, Westminster [Middlesex], victualler, and Jane, his wife; John White of Princes Street, Westminster, carpenter and Elizabeth, his wife (the women being the four daughters of Edward Cooper, late of Stanbridge, yeoman, eldest son and devisee of Edward Cooper of Stanbridge, yeoman, deceased); (ii) William Capp of Stanbridge, yeoman; (iii) Philip Foden of Beechwood, Flamstead [Hertfordshire], gentleman [to be party in the covenanted fine] Reciting: - (a)-(d) had been sold by public auction at which (ii) was the highest bidder, at £39 Operative Part - (i) released (a)-(d) to (ii) for £39 Property: (a) arable and swerd in Noldwich Field, Stanbridge in Midway Shott containing two roods; land of Labrow W and of Richard Gilpin E; (b) piece of arable and swerd in Nauldwick [i.e. Noldwich above] in Midway Shott of two roods with land of Wright E and Richard Gilpin W; (c) arable land in East Field, Stanbridge, in Brook Furlong shooting from the ridge to the brook containing two roods with land of Richard Gilpin on both sides; (d) arable land in East Field shooting up to German's and containing one acre with land of Clark E and Labrow W Covenant - to levy a fine sur conizance de droit come ceo etc. Witnesses: - Leonard Hampson; - David Willis;
