    -- The manor of Podington, with messuages and farms thereto belonging, held since the death of George Bredyman by his widow Edith for life; -- The messuage or cottage commonly called Sir Pearce in Hinwick; Deeds and writings relating to above property. If there is any effective claim made by Henry, Earl of Kent, or anyone claiming estate from George, sometime Earl of Kent, Thomas Southwell will make good the £1,000 and will also levy a fine if necessary. Witnesses: Robert Smythe, Edward Porter, Hugh Browker.
