    recites mortgage by (i) to (ii) on April 19th, 1740 of: ---- messuage and 8 leys of pasture in Begwary --- meadow called Carters in Begwary (3acres) between the ground formerly of Richard Dyer esq., both east and west and abutting north on Begwary Green. --- close called Overmead Close in Begwary (3acres), between the ground formerly of Richard Dyer on the east, west and north and abutting south upon Burnoe Lane; once in occupation of William Colling, then in occupation of Henry Fox. ---- small pieces of arable coming to 6acres in the common fields of Eaton Socon late in the occupation of Colling and Fox and then purchased of one Cupis by (i)'s late father Mead and left to (i) at his father's death. ---- 6acres of arable in Eaton Socon then in occupation of Fox and late purchased by (i) from Sarah Atkinson widow with appurtenances. Mortgage (demise for 1000 yrs) and peppercorn rent. Could be made void by payment of £120 and 4% interest p.a. which sum is still unpaid by (ii).
