and that £400 was formerly lent to Mark Wilkes by his brother Luke in his lifetime; by his will 7 Dec. 1673 Luke left the use of the said £400 to Mark for life, then to be payable to (ii);
-- Sprites pasture, 15acres, next Clipson Field; Three - acre meadow adjoining; Five - acre close next a lane from the house of Matthew Wilkes esq. (brother) to Hockliffe; all in Hockliffe; and occupied by Alice Pake, widow;
witnessed: Thos. Disney, Jac. & John Penington.
