Mounted photograph, by Kingham of Bedford, photographers, of two pet dogs posing on the seat of a car in a workshop yard, presumably at Bedford. [The book, Bedford’s Motoring Heritage, by Richard Wildman and Alan Crawley, page 47, shows that the vehicle is a Wilson car. The photograph was probably taken in the backyard workshop belonging to George Langley at 49, Bromham Road, Bedford. The lack of a number plate may indicate that the picture dates from before December 1903 when plates became required by law].
