    -- a messuage, formerly a cottage, Sandy, occupied by John Sutton; orchard of 3 rood; between Church Lane south, and a messuage late John Taylor, now Mr. Britten,north; abutting east on ground of Mr. Britten, west on the highway; -- a cottage late occupied by Joseph Wortley, between meadow west, and the way to Sandy mills east; lands and meadow as follows:- meadow called Heather (sic) Shadwell, 2 acres, occupied by John Sutton, abutting east on Coxwell hill, west on the Middle furlong of North Croft; 4 lands, 5 roods, in Rye furlong, North Croft, abutting east on Coxwell hill; 2 lands, 1acre, abutting as above; 3acres, partly in Chester Field in Middle furlong, abutting west on Syresone and east on the common heath; partly in St. Helen's Field, abutting west on Gadlock, east on Stratford way; owners and occupiers adjoining : Ralph Bromsall, late Lord St. John, late John Mayes, Jon.
