    -- the house or tenement where Robert Fowler doth now dwell with his houses, yards, orchards, closes and pasture grounds adjoining (7acres) with appurtenances, -- a close or piece of ground (25acres) with appurtenances now in tenancy or occupation of George Bury, gent. late Roger Wells, between ground of Sir Edward Duncombe, in tenancy of Roger, and of William Saunders, gent., in ten. Nicholas Johnson, and adjoining Mange Waie; -- all other lands etc. of Robert in Hockliffe with reversions, remainders etc. and all rights etc. of Robert therein: To be held of the chief Lord or Lords of the fee or fees thereof by the rents and services thereof heretofore first due and of right accustomed. COVENANT by ROBERT for self and heirs etc.: THAT he and / or Thomas Hillersdon is lawfully and absolutely seised of the premises in fee simple or fee tail 'without any manner of condicon' or use to change the same, and has full authority to convey as herein; ALSO for peaceful possession by (ii) without lawful let or trouble by any claimant whatsoever; AND THAT the premises herein conveyed with all appurtenances now are and shall forever continue to be unto (ii), his heirs and assignees forever discharged, or else, upon reasonable request therefore made to Robert his heirs, or assignees, shall be sufficiently saved harmless, from all manner of former charges and incumbrances whatsoever (rents and services henceforth due to the chief Lord of Lords of the fee or fees thereof and one Decree in the Chancery excepted); AND THAT Thomas Hilldersdon, heirs and wife Elizabeth, said Robert Fowler and wife Jane, and any other person lawfully claiming under any of them shall, from time to time within the 3 yrs. ensuing and upon the reasonable request and at the charges in the law of (ii), heirs and assignees, such further lawful conveyance as (ii) or their learned counsel in the law may reasonably require, whether by Fine or otherwise; the said Fine or any Fine of the said premises or part thereof hereafter levied by said parties or any of them to be TO THE USE OF (ii), heirs and assignees for ever.
