    - - All that messuage or tenement with appurtanences in Upper Shelton, parish of Marston Moretaine now divided in the serveral tenures of Richard Coleman, William Lane and the said Peter Moberley or assignees with all buildings gardens etc. etc. with appurtanences in Marston Moretaine to the said divided messuage or any part thereof belonging; - - 2 selions arable with appurtanences (by estimation 1 acre) called Bates acre together with 1 balk adjoining lying together in parish of Marston Moretaine in Eastlonge Field between John Matthew east, land of William Warhead and of the Lord of the Manor of Nether Shelton west, on Thomas Impie south and on close of John Pawle north, with reversion and remainder of all the premises with appurtanences and all deeds etc. concerning them. To hold of the Chief Lord of the Fee thereof by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed. COVENANT by (i) for self, heirs, executors and administrators for peaceable possession by (ii), heirs and assignees, forever, of the premises recited without 'lett trouble eviction sute molestation deniall interruption or contradiction' of (i), his heirs or assignees or of Elizabeth now his wife or of any other person now lawfully claiming any title or interest under (i) or wife Elizabeth or heirs or assignees of (i). And also absolutely discharged of former and other gifts... charges ... and incumbrances perpetrated or suffered to be done by (i) or by his consent, the rents and services hereafter to be due to the Chief Lord of the Fee excepted and foreprised. Also that he, his wife Elizabeth and his heirs will within 6 years from the date hereof at the charge and reasonable request of (ii) , his heirs and assignees shall do and suffer to be done any furthur act ... for the more perfect assurance ... and inhertance of the premises recited, whether by fine feoffment recovery release with warranty against (i) and Elizabeth and of the heirs of (i) only or by any other means by (ii), his heirs or assignees, or by his or their learned counsel reasonably required, all which assurances hereafter to be made shall inure to the only use of (ii) his heirs and assignees.
