- Scope and Content- - A messuage with appurtenances and 90 acres pasture arable and meadow, with all buildings, orchards etc. and all appurtenances. All occupied by Thomas Wells or assignees. Excepted: all timber and other trees, hedges, bushes etc. at any time growing upon the premises Convenants of husbandry, repair and maintainence; Provision for payment of rent and taxes and for repossession in case of default; Thomas may, during the term stated or 40 days after, carry away '2 hovills 1 woodhose and the bordes that lie in a cockloft, and a leaden 'cesterne', Thomas to have use of 'maultchamber and the neither barne' until 24 June 1685 with access through the yard belonging to the messuage Thomas may with servants and workmen, carts and horses, fetch away all the dung remaining on the premises at the end of the term any taxes any time before 24 June; Thomas to pay all taxes and impositions on the premises for repair of the parish church of Bletchley and maintenance of the poor of Water Eaton and also £1 3s. 7d. to the Lord of the Manor for quit rent due for the said term; (1) to bear all other charges Witnesses: George Magman, Joshua Hartwell. signature: Thomas Wells (m)
