Bond of William Crofts of St.Paul's, Bedford, brewer, and William James Crofts of the same, baker, to the Churchwardens and Overseers of Keysoe, in the sum of £50, to indemnify the parish against charges for a bastard child expected by Ann Apthrop of Keysoe, singlewoman, of which William James Crofts is the reputed father. Crofts has agreed to pay 40s. for the lying-in, and 1s. 6d. weekly for maintenance
