(The lands are not set out in detail but would seem to have been the manors of Biscott and Lewsey in Luton which had come to
Edward Wingate through a mortgage and foreclosure in 1595, and on his death in 1598 passed to his son George - see VCH. II, 362-3.)
Great Seal of Elizabeth (one quarter broken off.)
