    'In the name of God, Amen.' To William Field of Bidwell, Houghton Regis, and Alice, his wife, brother and sister of late wife, Sarah, annuity. To Kinsman, William Pedder of Greenwich, Kent, son of William Pedder, fisherman, monetary bequest and discharge of debt owing to testator. To kinsman, Henry, son of John Haynes, monetary bequest. To John Brett of Luton, farmer, discharge of debt. To 'faithful housekeeper' Elizabeth Godfrey, all real estate in Great Britain, and residue of estate (personal effects, etc) chargeable with annuities. Desires to be buried in same grave as mother, at Houghton Regis. Executrix : Elizabeth Godfrey. Witnesses : Anthony Sherlock, Ann Sherlock, John Hooper. 27 December 1790. Codicil : Legacy to John Brett subject to payment to William and Alice Field of annuity of £5. Should he refuse, his debt to testator payable to E. Godfrey, who shall pay annuity of £5 to W. and A.
