Letter from County Fire Office. Lighting to shop window is by 4 unprotected gas jets. Mr Swaffield has difficulty in altering the lighting, but it is contrary to present rules to accept drapers risks lighted in this way. there are some insurance offices whose rules are not so stringent, and it may be that Mr Swaffield may wish to insure with one of them, though the County Fire Office would be sorry to lose his insurance
