Condition: Quarterly payment of annuity in South Porch of Parish Church of Biggleswade. (i) to cause Dennis Herbert of Biggleswade, merchant, to surrender at next Court of Manor of Biggleswade: -- Messuage with yard, garden, orchard and hempland; copyhold cottage in Shortmead Street in Biggleswade, occupied by Robert Goodes, house & grounds by Sir Thomas Bromsall deceased and then his coheirs; hempland (1/2acres) occupied by Robert Goods; hempland adjoining cottage of Thomas Allen in Shortmead Street held by Samuel Holden, then William Rands (D. Herbert admitted tenant at Court of 17 & 18 April 1781 on surrender of Thomas Whittington and Wm. Harrison Whittington.) -- to use of (i) and arrange for his admission.
