    (Recital of Conveyance of 16 & 17 October, 1745 between (a) The Hon. John Hagger Esq., (b) R. A. Britain sen. & R. A. Britain jun. (c) Thos. Marshall senior. (d) John Taylor of Biggleswade, tallow chandler. 4 cottages (below) conveyed to (d) in trust for (c). Recites T. Marshall senior held ' Queens Head ' (Inn) of Manor of Biggleswade, occupied by Robert Cooper then John Pryor, for rent of 3s - 10d. p.a. Also 3 cottages belonging to Inn, occupied by Robert Christmas, James Pepper, & John Howard. These now made into 4 occupied by James Pepper, William Hawkins, Valentine Beldame, and Widow Lincoln.) - -freehold part of '4 little cottages' near the Queens Head backgate in Biggleswade occupied by William Pope, John Carr, Alexander Endersby and John Albion, then John Carr, William Pope,Thomas Albion, and George Lincoln; land of AD2992-3. (Marshall senior promises (iii) that John Taylor (viz recital) shall have 4 cottages in trust for (iii). Also covenants with (iii) to surrender copyhold to own use and after marriage to use of (ii) etc. J. Trustram covenamts with Marshall junior to pay £200 of marriage portion one month after marriage with balance 4 years later.
