Scope and Content
Collected from the Queen’s Works in February 2004. Only drawings that give an indication of the layout and development of the buildings, the supply of water, steam and power to the plant or detailing large pieces of plant have been retained. Foundation and wiring diagrams of plant have not been kept. For plans relating to planning applications to the Bedford Borough planning authorities see BorBP. Arranged by place i.e. Queen’s Works, Biddenham Works, Pyghtle Works, Allen’s Club and then roughly in date order.
