Chapman the younger, in South streete of Dunstable abutting east on 'the comon highwaye called watling streete'; Close adjoining with right of way for servants, horses, cattle and carriages to pass through and at harvest time to pass through to Malthouses belonging to messuage; 1 acre abutting east the 'waye leading from the Fryers into the field', north land of (ii), south and west land belonging to George Inn, Dunstable. (Conveyed to (ii) by Chapman in Enfeoffment of 28 January 1685/6.) -- Crabtree Close (2acres) in Hockly. (Conveyed by Hebbs to (iii) on 9 April 1686.) -- 1 3/4 acre in fields of Houghton Regis, viz. in Midle furlong in the Innings and in Short furlong abutting north on Mixewaye. (Conveyed by Element to (iii) on 7 May, 1686.) -- Cottage occupied by Herculus Hodman decd.
