  • Scope and Content
Written at Harrold. My dear Mother, I wrote to Arthur on Friday, and a report came this morning for you, so I put it with the other letter in your drawer, I mean the one on the mantelpiece in the parlour. Miss Robinson sat with us this morning in Chapel because Julia did not go. The text was Luke XXIV:50 and Acts I: 6,7, & 8. Julia has gone to Sunday School this afternoon and Aggie and I are stopping at home. I hope you and May are enjoying yourselves at Witcham and that you found them all quite well. You did not say anything about Rosa, or the dear little baby. I hope they are quite well. I hope Rosa was pleased with her rabbit and that it got there safely. Sarah has gone to Chapel. She had the headache very badly yesterday but she is better to day. I hope you are both quite well and happy. Monday We are going to the Sewing Meeting this afternoon and Aggie is going to stop at home with Sarah. Mr. Jones is going to begin the Bible Class on Thursday evening. Give my love to Uncle and Auntie and to my cousins and May and especially to yourself. From your loving daughter Edith A. Sanders
