    (i) T. Single of Girtford. (ii) Eliz. Layton of Stotfold, widow. (iii) Geo. Cooper of Baldock, Herts., gardener, & Nath. Morton of Stotfold, yeo. (iv) Jas. Lambirth of Whitechappel, London, cordwainer & Thos. Metcalf of Whitechappel, yeo. (sons of (ii) by former husbands.) -- 7 acres in common fields of Sandy (bought of John Mordaunt by Sarah Dean of Sandy, widow decd. Devised by her will (See AD2751-2) to Wm. Brand who sold them to Thomas Single. Occupied by Wm. Randall. To use of (iii) in trust for (i), then for (ii) for life or until she remarries, then use of heirs of (i) for ever.) -- 7 1/2 acres & 14 swarths in parish of Sandy. (viz., in Lowfield in Longhalf Field abutting east Flax Leys furlong, west Short Half Field; in Clonhill abutting east Chantry Piece; in Mead Field in Short Lilland abutting west Osbitch; in Middle Field abutting east Short Hill; in Long Frish Land abutting east Mays Ditch; (14 swarths) abutting west Osbitch Close, east Short Lilland; in Down Field in Highway furlong abutting west Highway; in Pattersale abutting north Stonehill; in Short Freshland abutting east Frog furlong, west Long Hilland (with remainder of term of 500 yrs. from deed of 16 March 1727/8 between Jas. Webster of Girtford, yeo. & Rbt. Cock of Dunton, yeo. -- Cottage of Manor of Biggleswade. (surrendered same date by (i). Uses as above.) (Release. By (ii) to (iii)). -- Cottage in Stotfold, alias Statfold, in Frog End between land of Geo. Salt south & Mill Lane north, abutting land of Mr. Denton east & west way to yard of G. Salt. Cottage held by Benjamin Brooks. Bt. of Benj. Harris, (To use of (ii) before marr., then (i) for life, then (ii) for life, then to use of (iv) for ever as tenants in common.
