(i) Eliz. Parker of Girtford, widow. (ii) Jn. Atkins of Girtford, bricklayer, son of Eliz. Parker (Recites of AD2706) Thos. Atkins died 1 May, 1665. Widow Elizabeth then married Jn. Parker of Girtford, farrier, who died 28 December, 1680. Recites agreement of Eliz. Parker & Jn. Atkins that for £3 p.a. rent to Jn. Atkins & in consideration of her 'enjoyinge the lopp of all wood, ye plash of ye pightell that shall be growinge' there & all ye dead trees.', she has granted rt. & title of land to Jn. Atkins - - - land as in AD2704 viz: -- 7 parcels in Downe field in Hatchknole furlong. -- 3 parcels in same furlong. & cottage & outhouses. Witd.: Thos. Springe, Ric. Lee, J. Brydall.
