    Mary Cheyne of Luton, widow, and Thomas Cheyne of London, gentleman (son and heir apparent), to Michael Arnald of Ampthill, gentleman. - The Manor of Flitwick; a cottage in East End of Flitwick in which John Fells dwells, with close adjoining (3 acres), bounded South West and North by the highways, and East by Mill Pond; a close called Turfe Ground (18a), between ground of Mrs Scarborough, North, that of Samuel Rhodes esquire on East, and the common; and a close called Crowches (3 acres), between the pasture of Peter Honnywood esquire, on South, and Groves Close on North. Also Ley Close and Grove Close (together 10 acres), between the close of said Mrs Scarborough on North, and that of said Peter Honnywood on South, and abutting West on the highway, and East on the close called Turfe Ground. Also 7 acre meadow in the Common Meadows of Flitwick. Place-names: Over Pitchpole, Lower Pitchpole, Dovehouse Meade, Jacksons Bridge.
