    Thomas Cheyne of Luton gentleman (son and heir apparent of Thomas Cheyne, gentleman deceased) to Mary Cheyne (widow of Thomas Cheyne senior). - The Manor of Flitwick; a capital measure in East End of Flitwick, with a close of pasture adjoining containing 3 acres, bounded South West and North by the highway, and East by the Millpond; a close called the Turfe ground (18 acres) , between the land of Samuel Rhodes esquire, late Edward Blofeild’s gentleman, North and East, and the Common Moore on South; also a close called Crouches (3 acres), between the pasture of Peter Honnywood, esquire on South, and Groves Close North; Ley Close and Grove Close (together 10 acres), between closes of Samuel Rhodes North, and of Peter Honnywood on South, abutting West on the highway, and East on the close called the Turfe ground; & 10 acres in the Common Field of Flitwick; whereof 6 acres lie together in the Moore Field , between land late of Anne Collop East and late John Barnat’s on West, abutting South, on the close late of Henry Collop, gentleman; the other 4 acres in East Field, whereof 3 acres lie in a close called Streames, and the other acre in the same furlong with the Common Baulk North. Also a cottage at Dennell End in Flitwick., between the highway on west and the close of Daniel Fary East, in occupation of Thomas Parker; 4 acres in the Common Fields of Flitwick [no details]; 2 acres in East End Gapp Field; l acre beyond the Wood; ½ acre beyond the Wood; 3 roods beyond the Wood on Broadmore Furlong: 5 roods in Dovehouse Meadow; and 3 swathes in the same meadow; (all which 4 acres etc. Were purchased by Thomas Cheyne, deceased, from Godfrey Chybnale, gentleman).
