- Production dateFrom: 1401 To: 1401
- Scope and ContentThere is no name in the actual court record, and the endorsement 'Potton' is in a later hand. Whether it is in fact Potton seems doubtful, because the main manor of Potton, Potton Regis, though in the early C13 it was in the hands of Christina Ledet and her husband Henry de Braybrook, passed to their granddaughter Alice, wife of Wm. le Latimer, and at this time seems to have been attached to the duchy of Lancaster. It does however relate to a manor in this neighbourhood, because Biggleswade is referred to. Everton seems possible, which belonged to Joan, Baroness Cobham, who m. Sir Reg. Braybrook as her 2nd husband, and was in possession in1403.
