    (i) William Flindall of Dunstable, maltster son & heir apparant of late J. Flindall of Dunstable, maltster. (ii) John Whitley of Dunstable, woollen draper. -- 'pasture ground, yard, orchard & backside of ground 'where one messuage etc. was leatly burnt & consumed by fyer' in Leagrave in Luton. -- 1 ac. pasture adjoining ground of Jonas Briggs East: Barley furl. North; King's highway South. 17 ac. arable, lea, meadow, in fields of Leagrave & elsewhere in Luton & in Toddington late occupied by Edward Bradin now John Freeman the elder. Which William Flindall ought to have after decease of Mother-in-Law Jone Flindall, late wife of J. Flindall, his father. Recites Will of J. Flindall 20 Oct. 1670 leaving it to Jone for life with remainder to William. Mentions Mary, wife of Wm. Flindall. Endorsed from the will of John Whittley, 8 May 1698. To wife Mary & heirs. & assigns for ever: messuage wherein Wm. Deacon now doth dwell in Leagrave in Luton and 16 ac. arable in Leagrave in Luton. Witns. Wm. Peirson, Jn. Freeman, Wm. Blackwell
