Mainly copies of the correspondence of Robert Butcher; One, to the Duke, Sep.19, 1746, refers to John Scribo's neglect of the drainage works being such "as almost to exceed belief," and is, in effect, a general report on the condition of the estate. Same date: account of Wilson's previous employment and reasons for appointing him (page missing from one copy). Some correspondence with Mr. Bullock, the Duke's woodman at Thornhaugh - dispute with Lord Exeter.
