Has sent Secretary of Manila Railway Co. Carmen's address at Bilbao as all writer knew of Horace's movements was that he was to meet the Governor of Manila in Rome on 14 Jul. Had postcard saying Horace was on board S.S. Columbo on way back to Manila but writer does not know whether he took Carmen and the children with him or left them in the South of France. Has heard from "the Aunt" who is an invalid. Is pleased Harry has taken Kitts Corner Cottages but they must be very inconvenient. "How do you manage to 'tub' the tribe for instance". Charles has been in Newcastle for 6 weeks. Edith and "The dear boy" are staying at Bull Bay for a month where Dr. W. will join them. Writer has not heard recently from Kimberley. Aubrey Sampson has been knighted, made a Col. in the Brithish Army and is a C.B. Victor Sampson has refused a judgeship but has been made director of the de Beers Co.
