Scope and Content
Gives Mrs Capt. Hancock's address. Very cold and much snow. Had letter from Eliza at Portsmouth saying Capt. Hancock and her daughter had been very ill but were better now and that the ship was ready to sail. Wishes not to spend another winter in Kent. Estate will be divided between 4 sisters at writer's death but writer wishes to sell it as does not think Car. will ever live there.
