Sends receipt for £400 stock by Mr Chas. Varnham who is travelling to Turvey. Information re business. Encloses bill and receipt for two table covers. Does not advise buying lump sugar at present as prices are so dear. Had a letter from Miss Higgins and expects to see her shortly at Moorgate. Mr Warner of Surrey Place has returned from Brighton "much amended in health" Hen. Sale, Mr H's. coachman is very ill with dropsy and asthma and not likely to survive many days
