    i) Sir Thomas Leigh of Stoneleigh & wife Mary, John Earl of Bridgewater. ii) John Moore esq, Francis Welles, Thomas Danvers alias Davers, John Welles, Francis Theed gentleman, Thomas Howe, William Hogg, Edmund Hannell, Thomas Poynton, Richard Theed, Adam Michell and others not named in copy. Tenants of Leighton Buzzard and Heath & Reach. Recites recent dispute re Coney Warren on Leighton Heath 1. (ii) and all other tenants having commonage on the Heath agree that (i) shall hold the Park in Leighton Buzzard heath, formerly enclosed by Sir Christopher Hoddesdon (100 acres). Is to be enclosed by (i) from South East end of Gledley Wood next Rushmoore pond to end of Coker way (the ditch or mound to be 7 foot further South East than the former one and even with Gledley Wood corner at the Nether End). 2. (ii) to pay (i) 8d for every pole enclosed. 3. (ii) to repair the remaining mounds & fences from Coker way side to the brook, following current of same to North East corner of Gledley Wood supervised by Sir Robert Lovett. 4. (ii) to provide carriage of thorns, rails, posts & quicksets provided they are not more than 3 miles distant. 5. (i) to hold Bakers Wood & house and orchard by Rushmore Pond. 6. (ii) to pay (i) £50 for conies remaining on the heath, money to be paid at house of Edmund Bolsworth in Leighton Buzzard. 7. (ii) to procure a Decree of Chancery by end of next Hilary term to confirm these articles. (i) will bear half the charges, up to £13 6s 8d. 8. (ii) given licence to kill all the conies in the Park before Easter next and all conies in the Heath in one year. (i) will then keep conies only in the Park. 9. (i) undertakes to commence an action vs. (ii) in Chancery (to procure the decree).
