‘I don’t think we can find any fault with the draft after all, as I find out that Collidge let them in for no end of rent, so that’s why they want it in advance & I told them I would pay in advance & about the lease that’s alright £90, as they get £15 a year from the yeomanry for the use of the paddock which I shall have sole possession when I take it on lease so I don’t think we can grumble at that. Any how you do what you think best, only I think it about fair.’
