Letter from C R Dames, Clynderwen House, Carmarthenshire, to Hooper & Fletcher. ‘Mrs Pope had the money she put into the Potton Brewery and also money which she put into the business under the will of her grandfather James Gilbertson. The sum was £1609.9.8. This money came to the children on the death of Mrs Dames – it was in trust for her for life.’
