- to daughters Mary Carrington, Martha Mackaness and Elizabeth Newbery all wearing apparel and bed and table linen equally to be divided between them. - executors one fifth part of all the residue of my effects and personal estate in trust to pay interest and profits to Martha Mackaness for her separate use ‘exonerated from the control and engagements of her husband’ - remaining four fifth parts of residuary personnel estate to sons William and James and daughters Mary Carrington and Elizabeth Newbery equally to be divided between them. Executors: sons William and James Pope Witnesses: Thomas McGrath, surgeon and Thomas Maclean, surgeon.
