April 1706 Admission of John Wright upon surrender of Abraham Whitelong to all messuages in Shortmead Street in occupation of John Blewitt with a piece of land called Hempland. 23 January 1715 John Wright surrendered under his will. Under will he devised to his nephew Anthony Renolds, third son of Anthony Renolds and his wife Mary - Messuage and cottage in occupation of John Palmer - Another in St Andrew’s Street together with the Tan yard in occupation of Richard Sansome - Another in occupation of William Beaumont - Another in occupation of widow Stonebridge - Another in Holme Lane in the several occupations of Thomas Plowman, Martin Winsworth and the co heiresses of the late Sir Thomas Bromstaff - Another in Shortmead End purchased of Abraham Whiteing in occupation of Robert Anthony Renolds admitted April 1716 Anthony Renolds with his mother, Mary (who was heir-at-law to the said John Wright) joined in a surrender of the messuage then or now called the Wheatsheaf amongst other lands to Thomas Bletsoe and his heirs upon which he was admitted in year 1736
