Copy of conditional surrender William Bennett of Biggleswade, victualler to George Rugeley of Potton, Gent for the consideration of the sum of £60 plus interest to be repaid upon the 20th March next Wheatsheaf Inn in or near the market place, Biggleswade in occupation of William Bennett and Thomas Brampton. Taken by John Houghton and Dutton Limbrey two of the customary tenants of the manor. Endorsed with confirmation of receipt of £60 by William Bennett 20 Sept 1745- and authorization to enter satisfaction dated 4 Oct 1760 witness John Rugeley.
