    Jane Green, wife of Richard Green of St Andrews Holborn, London and Em Winn, natural sister of Jane Green, have jointly with the consent of Richard Green agreed with Edward Fleming in return for rents and covenants to lease to him cottage and pastureland at Astwick, Bedfordshire from 25 March 1689 for 7 years. Rent 50 shillings to be paid during the term of seven years. Edward Fleming to maintain thatch and daub walls and attend to all other necessary repairs. Agreement made 20 May 1688. Witnessed Richard Sare (his mark) Robert Burridge Inventory: In the house: one double leaf’d table, 3 stools, 1 little table with a drawer, 2 elbow chairs, 5 other chairs, 3 cornered stool, warming pan, brass ladle, brass skimmer, long shelf, large dripping pan, , one little pan, 3 earthen dishes, one of which has 4 corners, 1 tin candlestick, 5 pewter spoons, 2 pots with two handles apiece, 2 earthen or delft plates, 1 brass writing candlestick, 2 pewter porringers hanging over the long shelf, a candle box hanging under it, a double hanging shelf with flaunces, and 1 porringer, 2 pots, 1 pan, 1 dresser, 1 small looking glass, little pitcher, earthen platter, 2 stools under the dresser, the shelf on the mantle piece belongs to the house, on which stands 2 long earthen dishes and 1 little one, 4 cornered pudding pan, 1 cutting knife, 3 trenchers, 2 wooden porridge dishes, 1 little wooden platter, 1 pair of pinchers, 3 trenchers, rolling pin, one form in the chimney corner, 1 pair of bellows, 1 pair of tongues, 1 fire shovel, 2 pothooks, 3 little hooks, 1 pot iron, 1 gridiron, wooden candlestick, 1 short legged stool under the little table, 1 hatchet, the 2 window shutters, 1 largish pitcher and bucket pail in the chamber below. 1 bedstead, 1 flockbed, 3 homespun blankets, brass cupboard, 3 coffers, 3 green chairs, 2 little stools, 1 box, 13 trenchers, small shelf with tin candlestick, 4 little glass bottles. In the Buttery: 1 kettle, 1 skillet, frying pan, 2 small barrels, 1 tub, [?], 1 little cupboard, 2 bowls, 2 sacks, 5 bags, 4 dishes,1 handle, 3 earthen pots, 1 large pickling/pudding pot, iron rack, bowls, hay hook, all the shelves and forms except the long shelf which belongs to the house with pots and lumber and 1 hobbin iron. In the Chamber upstairs. Linen – pair of sheets with seamings, 1 sheet without, eleven pairs of weaving sheets, 2 coffers, there is 13 pairs of sheets in all and fine long tablecloth with a fringe at one end, 1 feather pillow,, wearing shifts, the best seaming sheet[?] to lie over her to the grave and the other to be given to my sister Mary. 2 wheels, 1 wooden box, 2 small pappse poxes [?], 1 pair of scales, 2 bags of pewter dishes, a tankard and chamber pot.
