- Scope and ContentStates at no time boundary line between Albans MM & Upperside MM - good idea because then individs can consult "their manifest convenience & inclination" Wm no idea that on his removal from Berkhamstead to Bourne End wld have to relinquish settlement in Upperside MM Both he & his late father paid considerable sums towards erecting meeting house at Berkhamstead - (not completed) Reasons against pressing Q a) because would deprive him of that accomodation which he had in view for them & which he reasonably hoped to have secured b) have to go one mile further c) would separate "him from very near connections" residence of Thos Squire at Bourne End a precedent but T.S. only regarded his residence at Bourne End a temporary one which he meant to resign of Wm Littleboy's marriage. There was then no meeting house at Berkhamstead & therefore he would have to go to Tring; Copy sent to Dan Brown of Luton
