Extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Ely Diocesan Trustees on 7th/18th May 1898, concerning the appointment of the Rev.J.R.H.Duke, The Rev.G.F.W.Munby, and Francis Higgins of Turvey House as administrative trustees of the Stevington Church Room, and resolution to accept a conveyance of 22 poles of land at Stevington on trust "for the erection of a building thereon to be used as a Mission Room, Sunday School, and for other purposes under the management of the administrative trustees"
