Bundle of correspondence, mainly addressed to Mrs Burton Alexander and generally from solicitors, either Messrs Salusbury and Woodhouse of Leicester of Messrs Burnham, Son and Lewin of Wellingborough, concerning general estate matters and especially the settlement of the estate of the late Mr Burton Alexander and also about a right of way action to be heard at Bedford. Also includes: Letter from the clerk to the Faringdon Rural District Council Berkshire, requesting permission to make a bore in one of her fields in bourton in search of a pure water supply. 'Mr Tompkins a waterfinder of considerable reputation having pointed out a spot.' 17 March 1897.
